OBSESSIVE ISLAND. English, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by fiddler Clare Mann, of Newcastle, an All-Ireland fiddle champion and member of the group Tabache, written either by a friend who was obsessed with Irish music, or for her who loves Irish set dancing (depending on which of her album liner notes one accesses).
