OLD TIME CLOG. AKA - "annotation:Old Timer Clog." AKA and see "Northon's Hornpipe," "Norton's Best Hornpipe," "Norton's Favorite," "Remembrance of Dublin." American, Clog. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Ford): AABB' (White). The tune appears under the 'Norton's' title in various Elias Howe publications, presumably referring to Jimmy Norton, the "Boss Jig Player". Unfortunately nothing is known of him, although he is mentioned not infrequently by Howe. "White's Unique Collection" is a later publication of the Howe firm in Boston.
