OLIVER'S (WALTZ). English(?), Waltz. G Major ('A' and 'B' parts) & C Major ('C' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The title may reference Keswick fiddler John Oliver, born 1874, who was the Whip of Melbrake Hunt and played fiddle for local Hunt Balls and weddings. Keswick was aged 85 when Peter Kennedy first recorded him in 1954.
