PERTHSHIRE LASSES, THE. Scottish, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer biography:Alexander Walker (1819-190?). Since the tune directly follows the strathspey "Moncrieffe House" (Perthshire) in Walker's 1866 publication, the tunes are probably linked, perhaps to be played as a strathspey-reel combination.
