PULL DOWN THE SHEETS. AKA and see "Downfall of Water Street (2)" (Pa.). American, Reel. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Although he thought the tune sounded like an Irish hornpipe or reel, Bayard (1981) was unable to trace it. He points out the tendency of southwestern Pennsylvania fiddlers to play the fourth of the scale sharp.

Source for notated version: Irvin Yaugher (fiddler from Fayette County, Pa., 1946) and James Bryner (elderly fiddler from Fayette County, Pa., 1960) [Bayard].

Printed sources: Bayard (Dance to the Fiddle), 1981; No. 163A-B, pp. 100-101.
