RAKES OF CASTLEBAR [2], THE. AKA and see "Gossan that Beat His Father (The)." Irish, Reel. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The 'Rakes' title is perhaps a miss-hearing of "Races of Castlebar," although the tune usually known by that title is a jig.
