VALSE-QUADRILLE (première partie). French-Canadian, Waltz. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The waltz-quadrille is a composite dance form consisting of four parts. See also listings under "Waltz Quadrille" for other examples of this hybrid genre.

Arthur Pigeon

Source for notated version: Montreal accordionist Arthur Pigeon [1] (1884-1966), a member of the popular trio "Les trois copains," along with fiddler Henri Wattier and pianist Edmond Moreau. Pigeon was a student of the great Montreal diatonic accordion player Alfred Montmarquette [Joyal].
