VALSE CLARISSE. French-Canadian, Waltz. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABA'B'. Composed by Quebec accordion player Alfred Montmarquette [1] (1871-1944) and recorded on 78 RPM in 1931 for Starr records (accompanied by Mme. Édouard Bolduc on the jew's harp).
