VENETIAN HORNPIPE. American, Hornpipe. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Boston publisher Elias Howe prints instructions for a contra dance set to the tune in several of his publications, including American Dancing Master, and Ball-Room Prompter (1862) and 1000 Jigs and Reels (c. 1867).
