WHEATSHEAF [1], THE (Tafarn yr Ysgub). AKA - "Wheatsheaf Inn (The)," "Wheatsheaf Tavern." Welsh. From the manuscript of Welsh Triple Harper Thomas D. Llewelyn ‘Llewelyn Alaw’, from Aberdâr, a 19th century collector of Welsh music. The wheatsheaf was a symbol for brewing, among other things.
