WHITE HORSE [1], THE. Irish, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The first strain is similar to "Irish Lawyer (The)" published in London by the Thompsons in 1757.

Source for notated version: Patrick MacDowell, "the distinguished sculptor: born in Belfast 1799: died 1870" [Joyce]. MacDowell supplied Joyce with a great many tunes.
