YELLOW CAT [2]. AKA and see "Cousin Sally Brown (2)." Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This "Yellow Cat" is an Appalachian tune and unrelated to the Oklahoma tune of the same name (for which see "Yellow Cat (1) (The)"). The tune was in the repertoire of Virginia fiddler, guitarist, and singer Bill Shelor [1].
