MOUNTAINS OF KERRY, THE (Sleibte {Na} Ciarraige). AKA and see "Douglas's Favorite Hornpipe," "Doug's Favorite," "Mountain Hornpipe (1) (The)," "Woody's Hornpipe." Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. County Kerry has the highest mountains in Ireland. Thirteen peaks are classified by the Scottish Mountaineering Club as Furths i.e. mountains over 3,000 feet in the British Isles outside Scotland that are regarded as separate mountains. Ten of these are located in Macgillycuddy's Reeks in County Kerry.
