NEW WEDDING REEL. AKA and see "Second Wedding (The)." American, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Francis O'Neill printed a version of the tune as "Second Wedding (The)," very similar to "New Wedding Reel" printed in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883). "The New Wedding" in R.M. Levey's second collection of Dance Music in Ireland (1873) is a distanced version of both the O'Neill and Ryan reels, but is considered cognate.
