O'CAROLAN'S FANCY [1]. Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). The tune was composed by 20th century Irish musician Joseph Crofts, who published it in Walton’s Irish Dance Music: Including Original Tunes by J.M. Crofts A.D.C.M., Part Three (Dublin). The volume is not dated, but was possibly issued in 1947. Crofts also composed the tunes "Galloping Hogan," "Dancing Tailor (The)," and "Rosemary Lane."
