CAPTIVATING YOUTH, THE. Irish, Air. The air appears in Belfast collector Edward Bunting's (1773-1843) second collection, published in 1809. It is a variant of the air "Blossom of the Raspberry (The)", which Bunting first printed in his General Collection of the Ancient Music of Ireland (1796).
