COL(L)ONEL CRAFURD'S REEL. AKA and see "Earl of Dalkeith's Reel (1)." Scottish, Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Glen (1891) finds the tune earliest in print in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection (under the above title), although it later appeared in Gow's Third Collection, 1792 (p. 20), under the title of "The Earl of Dalkeith's Reel."
