FOUR COURTS [2], THE (Na Ceitre Cuirt). AKA and see "Pinch_of_Snuff_(1)_(The)." Irish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBC (O'Neill/1850): ABCD (O'Neill/1001). See related first strain of "Pinch of Snuff."

Edward Cronin

Source for notated version: "Cronin" [O'Neill]. Chicago fiddler Edward Cronin was born in the 1840's in Limerick Junction, County Tipperary, Ireland. He was a skilled fiddler whose playing O'Neill greatly admired, and had a vast repertoire. O'Neill transcribed many tunes from him, until they had a falling out over a seeming;y trivial matter (to O'Neill, who did not elaborate).
