The ‘Saddle’ title has drifted over to cover the ‘Glendart’ title in “Saddle the Pony (6)” (which also has its strains reversed from “Humors of Glendart” in Kerr’s publication). Researcher Conor Ward notes that the tune was called “Saddle the Pony” in 19th century musicians’ manuscripts from County Longford.
