MAGURIE'S KICK. AKA and see "Lonesome Jig (1) (The)," "Maguire's March (2)," "Rolling Wave (1) (The)." Irish; Jig, Slide or March (6/8 or 12/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Collector George Petrie (1905) describes the tune as a "rebel's march in 1798."
