Frank Roche's "Stick the Minister [1]" is perhaps a derivative of "Stick the Minister" in Scottish writing master and amateur fiddler-composer biography:David Young's Bodleian Manuscriot (1734, No. 2), albeit quite distanced. Compare with "Allie Croker."
