QUEEN'S GUARDS. English, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Fr. John Quinn finds Ryan's "Queen's Guards" to be a nearly identical version of "Queen's Triumph (The)," attributed to the early 19th century Ayrshire fiddler-composer biography:Hugh Gilmour.
