HUMOURS OF DUBLIN [1]. English, Jig. England, Northumberland. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody first appears in Walsh's Caledonian Country Dances, also published in his Fourth Book of the Compleat Country Dancing Master (London, 1747). Vickers' is an identical version.

Source for notated version: the 1770 music manuscript collection of William Vickers (Northumberland), about whom, unfortunately, nothing is known [Seattle].
