AH! SURELY (2). Irish, Jig. The tune was recorded on 78 RPM by fiddler Batt Henry and his Traditional Quartet Orchestra in Dublin in 1930 for the Parlophone label. Reg Hall (1995) says Henry was from the small village of Doocastle, on the Sligo/Mayo border, the same area that was the birthplace of London fiddler Michael Gorman.
