EVERYBODY SCHOTTISCHE [1]. AKA and see "Cat Clumb Up the Plum Tree Schottische." Old-Time, Schottische. USA, Arkansas. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Source Walden said when he recorded the tune in 1951 for field collectors Irene Carlisle and Don West that the tune had two or three names (including "Cat Run Up the Plum Tree"), but that "most everybody called it "Everybody Schottische." Similarities in the first strain to "Rochester Schottische (2)," and in the second strain to "Little Brown Jug." Similarities in the first part only to "Everybody Schottische (2)."
