FRANKLIN COUNTY BLUES. Old-Time, Breakdown. Source group the Dixie Ramblers were from Russellville, Alabama, in the northwestern part of the state. The four-piece band released four instrumental sides, recorded in Birmingham in 1937 (their vocal numbers were rejected).
