GIRL WITH THE BLUE DRESS ON [4], THE. Old-Time, Breakdown. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune is reminiscent in parts of the second strain to the Irish "Shane O'Neill's March," although probably not derivative. Source John Summers [1] was a southern Indiana farmer, who later in life became a luthier and made violins.
