IRISHMAN'S RETURN FROM AMERICA. AKA and see "Rodney's Glory (1)," "My Name is Moll Mackey," "Praises of Limerick." Irish, Reel. A Minor/Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. The tune is miss-labelled as a reel in Kerr's volume (while at the same time is also directed to be played "slow"). The tune, however, is a renaming of the Irish set dance "Rodney's Glory (1)," which is usually played at a relaxed, stately pace.
