JANET TYED THE BONNET TIGHT. AKA - "Jenny/Jeanie Tied the Bonnet Tight." Scottish. From The Piper's Assistant (1854). Nigel Gatherer finds the tune in Brendan Breatnach's Ceol Rince na hÉireann, and in Ireland it goes by the titles "Upstairs in a Tent", "Jenny Tie Your Bonnet" and "In and Out the Harbor (1)."
