MRS. SHEARER OF BUCHROMB. Scottish, Slow Strathspey. F Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Marshall): AAB (Hardie). Composed by William Marshall (1748-1833). Buchromb house is licated in lower Glenfiddich. Mr. Shearer, according to Marshall’s letters, was a frequent visitor to Keithmore, the farm Marshall moved to after his service to the Duke of Gordon as Steward of the Household.
