BLACK FIDDLE, THE. Irish, Hornpipe. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. Keegan says her father talked of a black fiddle he heard occasionally at threshing sprees or while 'on his ceili'. Composed by fiddler and pianist Josephine Keegan (b. 1935), of Mullaghbawn, south County Armagh.
