BARNARD'S WILL. English, Reel. England, Northumberland. G Major or G Mixolydian. Standard tuning. AABB. Vickers' title, notes Matt Seattle, is probably a corruption of "St. Barnard's Well." The well, according to David Johnson, was on the outskirts of Edinburgh New Town, near the Water of Leith.

Printed sources: Seattle (William Vickers), 1987, Part 3; No. 428. Johnson (Scottish Fiddle Music), 1984; No. 73.
