Paul Fackler points out, "It is also the first tune in the Diable Vert medley on the Manigance "Nouvelles manigances" recording (and is the tune that Claude Méthé called "Diable Vert" because he learned it from the band 'Les diables noir' and changed a note)." "Aimé Gagnon (1)" AKA "Diable Vert" is the second tune in the Manigance medley. Both tunes were recorded under the title of the medley, "Le Diable Vert", and both tunes have been called by that title. The first tune in the medley is Graham Townsend's "Running Water," also called nowadays as "Diable Vert (Le)."
