AITHERNIE LODGE. AKA and see "Auld Adam," "Old Adam," "Jim Ward's." Scottish, Jig (6/8 time). Scotland, Orkney. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. "Aithernie Lodge" is also known as the pipe march "Old Adam." The untitled jig can be heard as the first tune of set "Ciaran's Capers" on Altan's “Runaway Sunday” (1997[1]) recording. The tune is credited to George Redpath on Jimmy Shand's recording.
