BATH MINUET [4]. English, Minuet (3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. One of several tunes that evoke the fashionable country 18th century country dancing at the resort town of Bath. This melody appears to be unique to London dancing master Thomas Wilson's Companion to the Ball Room (1816).
