BEKKA HILL. Shetland, Waltz (3/4 time). E Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed in 1951 by Shetland fiddler, composer, teacher and collector wikipedia:Tom_Anderson _(fiddler) (1910-1991) for the Islesburgh Dance Band. At the time Anderson was the leader of the band, and they were playing at different community club dances around the country districts of Shetland. Bekka Hill is near the site of the former Community Hall at Sand.
