BENORT DA DAECKS O' VOE (North of the Dykes/Walls of Voe). AKA - "Benorth da Deks o’ Voe," "Turn of da Burn." Scottish, Reel (cut time). Scotland, Shetland Isle of Unst. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The title translates as "North of the Dykes (or Walls) of Voe." The tune and title are contained in the 1862 music manuscript pages of biography:James Hoseason of Yell, Shetland.
