CANADIAN SET II, 1st change. French-Canadian, Jig and Quadrille (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABAC. "The Canadian Set" was a second set of tunes with that title recorded early in the 78 RPM era by fiddler biography:Arthur Jospeh Boulay (1883-1948), who displays his ability to shift positions on the violin with these three recordings. The recordings featured Boulay's solo fiddle with figures (in English) called by a dance caller.
