CARIBOO SHUFFLE. Canadian, Reel (whole time). G Major ('A' part) and D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. "Cariboo Shuffle" was composed by carpenter, welder and fiddler Lenard Sexsmith (1926-1997) of Prince George, British Columbia. The title refers not to the elk-like animal, but rather to a the name of a region in British Columbia called Cariboo, where Sexsmith lived.
