CLOG DANCE [3]. French-Canadian, Clog or Hornpipe (cut time). D Minor ('A' part) & F Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. This unnamed clog dance tune was recorded for Starr Records in Montreal in 1929 by harmonica player Pit Paré, one of the earlier harmonica players to record. Unfortunately, he only recorded a few sides and very little is known about him. His instrument was a 10-hole diatonic harmonica in 'F' played in the relative minor key (fourth position on the instrument).
