COLONEL STOCKWELL. AKA - "Col. Stockwell," "Noah's Ark." Scottish, Canadian; Pipe March (cut time). Canada, Cape Breton. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD'. "Col. Stockwell" was composed by Pipe Major Sutherland. Paul Stewart Cranford (2015) records that it was Cape Breton fiddler Tommy Basker's (1923-1999) favorite march.
