COME IN FROM THE RAIN ("Tar astac on baisdead" or "Taristeac on baisteac"). AKA and see "Jig (84)," "Jig (93)," "Trip to Galway (A)." Irish, Single Jig (6/8 time). E Aeolian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Neill printed another version, identical save for the transposed key, in his Dance Music of Ireland (1907) under the title "Trip to Galway (A)." Cognate versions are to be found as untitled jigs in Charles Villiers Stanford's Complete Collection of Petrie's Irish Music (1905, No. 972, p. 248), and in the music ms. collection of John "Boss" Murphy.
