COTILLON/COTILLION DES DAMES. French-Canadian, Jig and Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'CC'. The source for this cotillon was fiddler Arsène Jarry, a seventy-two year old shoemaker, who learned the tune from his father in Saint-Laurent (Montreal) in the 1860's
