DAVID MANSON OF QUARFF. Shetland, Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by the late Shetland composer, teacher, fiddler and collector Tom Anderson (1980), in honor of his friend and fellow fiddler David Manson of Wester Quarff, Shetland (Wester Quarff is a village facing the Atlantic some 5 miles south of Lerwick, the only town in Shetland). They were both founding members of the Shetland Fiddlers' Society.
