Widely known in a variety of genres and styles: western swing, Canadian, bluegrass, Cajun, old-timey. The tune was recorded in 1937 by Bill Boyd's Cowboy Ramblers (with Cecil Brower and Jesse Ashlock on fiddles) under the title "Draggin' It Around." "State Street Rag" and "Cotton Patch Rag" are related melodies.
