DRUGAN TROED TRANT. AKA - "Erddigan Tro'r Tant," "Erddigan of the turn of the string (The)." Welsh, Air (whole time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Drugan Troed Trant" was entered in the music copybook of Welsh fiddler John Thomas, dated 1752, also known as "Erddigan Tro'r Tant in other contemporary manuscripts. According to crwth and traditional fiddle player, and John Thomas researcher, Cass Meurig, the title "harks back to the old 'tro tant' harp tuning^[1]", and may have some association with the old wikipedia:Cerdd_Dant repertoire^[2]
