DUKE OF REICHSTADT'S WALTZ, THE. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBAA (Winter). "The Duke of Reichstadt's Waltz" was a popular light classical piece by wikipedia:Henri_Herz (1803-1888), an Austrian-French virtuoso pianist, composer and piano manufacturer whose exhaustive touring took him to tours in Europe, Russia, Mexico, South America, and United States of America between 1846 and 1850, where he concertized all the way to San Francisco.
A simplified version of the waltz was entered in the 1850 music manuscript of shoemaker and fiddler William Winter, of Bagborough, Somerset, southwest England.
