DUSTY MILLER [3]. American, Reel (cut time). USA; Kentucky, Missouri. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. An east Kentucky "Dusty Miller" was also played by fiddler Santford Kelly. Source J. P. Fraley (Rush, Kentucky, d. 2011) said his father had a flour mill, and thus he perhaps had an affinity for the tune. See also the related "Dusty Miller (2)."
