Scottish, "Earl Percy's Welcome to the Highlands of Scotland" was composed by gamekeeper and fiddler-composer biography:John Crerar in honor of the the father of Lady Emily Percy, who wed James Murray, General Lord Glenlyon, in1810. Crerar was employed by John Murray, the 4th Duke of Atholl, and composed a number of tunes for family members and events.
