Francis Garden-Campbell (1768-1815), 6th of Troup and Glenlyon, son of Peter Garden of Delgaty, inherited the estates of Troup from his granduncle, and upon his succession assumed the additional surname of Campbell. He was married 18 January, 1791, to Penelope Smythe, daughter of Richard Smythe, Esq., of Ballynatray.
